Ellen Creager, travel columnist for the Free Press, will discuss some of the most interesting and funny questions she has received from readers, mixed with talking about some of the things she's learned about traveling. Detroit Free Press Travel Writer Ellen Creager writes about travel news, deals, and destinations. She writes stories about interesting people and places she encounters on her journeys in the state, region and around the world. The award-winning reporter has covered travel for the Free Press since 2003; in the past 10 years she has reported from 45 countries, 31 states and in Michigan from Copper Harbor to Luna Pier. She’s been with the Free Press since 1983. A Rochester native, she attended Woodward and Meadowbrook Elementary schools, West Junior High (as it was known in ancient times) and Rochester Adams High School.
